Newly revised as of 11/24/2020! If you bought this pattern before that update you're entitled to the updates so please message me here on etsy! Includes two different types of body patterns: One with stationary arms and legs that sit, and one that is jointed. Both have clothing patterns included for them.
******************THIS IS THE SAME PATTERN AS THE OTHER FELT DOLL PATTERN IN MY SHOP, WITH A BONUS TUTORIAL AND STITCH GUIDE WITH STEP BY STEP PICTURES. BUT IT IS THE SAME PATTERN. PLEASE DO NOT BUY BOTH.*************
NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM. THIS IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD.
This is a combined human doll pattern and in-depth tutorial for the type of dolls shown above. The finished doll is 7.5-8.5" tall not including the horns. It has all of the clothing patterns shown plus some, but it can also be a tool to design your own using my base pattern. Feel free to be inspired by any of the three designs above, mix and match the outfits, or even modify the clothes patterns. It also contains a guide that teaches all of the stitches I use for both the seams and the decorative embroidery. I've touched on the basics of needle felting and sculpting the horns as well.
This tutorial includes instruction on how I complete the face, but does not come with a template for it.
This pattern + tutorial may be used for selling items for commissions, but please credit me or link back in some way, at least when asked. I've worked very hard on this pattern. Mass production is prohibited. Do not share this pattern or upload it to sharing sites.
That this can be a relatively involved project, but you can also opt for simpler dolls with no clothes or sculpture. It's got all the explanations needed for novices to experts, though if you're a complete beginner I'd recommend trying a simpler pattern first. Children below the age of 12 might have a hard time.
*A detailed knitting pattern for the white cowl is not included, but I've explained how I constructed it.
